Gil Wukitsch

Gil Wukitsch has been teaching at St. Charles East High School since 1997, where he directs the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Workshop, and extra-curricular pit orchestra, as well as co-directing the marching and pep bands. He also serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair, overseeing both Performing and Visual Arts. Gil has a degree in music education from DePaul University, and a master’s in educational leadership from Aurora University. After attending Birch Creek as a student from 1989 to 1992, Gil has been a Birch Creek trumpet teaching assistant and faculty member and has directed both the Lab and Studio Bands.
