Reggie Thomas

Pianist Reggie Thomas has been part of Birch Creek for more than thirty years. He recently retired as Coordinator of Northern Illinois University's Jazz Studies Program and just returned from touring South Africa serving as ensemble coach for Carnegie Hall's National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Reggie is pianist for the Legendary Count Basie Orchestra and the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. He also performs with his group Trio Nexus and with his wife vocalist, Mardra Thomas.
